The Academy caters for students from Year 7 to 11

The Academy considers all applications for places in line with Nottinghamshire City Council's Admissions Policy (found here*). This ensures that students of all abilities, backgrounds and faiths will be catered for and welcomed.

Admission Requests


Thank you for your interest in Park Vale Academy.  We hope you find all the information you require on our website.  If you would like your child to transfer to Park Vale Academy during the current academic year you will need to put your request in writing to Mr Bowhay, Headteacher, in the first instance.  You will need to include the following information:

  • Your child's current school

  • The reason you would like to move your child from their current school

  • Why you would like your child to attend Park Vale Academy

All applications are put before our Admission Panel on a fortnightly basis and applicants are informed by letter.

We take in students on a half termly basis during the second week of the half term.

Applying for your place at Park Vale Academy couldn't be easier. All applications should be made through the Local Authority process and places will be allocated in the spring of Year 6.
