New inter-house competitions: To keep the house spirit alive each house team will be setting a weekly inter-house competition via Show My Homework. The schedule is below and please see Show My Homework for details each week. Don't forget that you can use this to count towards one of your pledges so make sure you keep a photo of each entry for when the school returns.

  • Task 1: Inter-House Quiz W/C Monday Monday 27th April
  • Task 2: Inter-House Poetry/Short Story. W/C Monday 4th May
  • Task 3: Inter-House Photography. W/C Monday 11th May
  • Task 4: Inter-House Bake Off. W/C Monday 18th May (no shop bought entries allowed and there has to be photographic evidence of you baking!!)

Are you self-isolating and need support? You can call us if you don’t have trusted friends or neighbours to help you with picking up and delivering your medicine, food and household supplies. 

Our Customer Hub on 0115 915 5555 is the Golden Number that can connect you to community support groups and neighbourhood volunteer teams. This Golden Number is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday or you can visit


24/07/20 Free school meals vouchers to the value of £90 have been issued to cover the summer holiday period.  If your child qualifies for these you will receive either postal vouchers within the next couple of days or email vouchers, which will be available for download from 24th July.

04/06/2020: Free school meal vouchers for the period 1st June to 19th June have either been emailed or posted out this week.  If you receive emailed vouchers please check your inbox (including spam and junk mail) and redeem your vouchers as soon as possible.  The email will be from Edenred rather than the school.  If you have any queries please contact us.  Thank you.

01/05/2020: We have now moved to the new Government Free School Meals Voucher Scheme (Edenred).  If your child is in receipt of free school meals and we hold an email address for you, codes will be emailed to you next week which can be exchanged for vouchers at the supermarket of your choice.  For those parents who have not provided an email address, vouchers will be printed off and posted to you sometime next week.  A Guide for Parents and FAQs can be found by clicking this link, but if you have any other queries please contact the school.
